VENI, VIDI, VELCRO! Spelling and grammatical errors are beyond my control, it's the way I'm wired.

Oh yes, the A-10 had we had those in Nam I beat we would've ended the conflict much sooner. Some info. the skinny plane flying with that F-4 is actually an F-5 Tiger, that was used during Nam, it was actually not a bad plane it could carry bombs or missles and was very maneuverable, but lacked the Mach 2 speed most planes of the day were capable of. They actually used these planes as the enemy planes in the Top Gun film, those weren't really Migs. I like them propeller planes too. B-24 Liberator is one of my favorite bombers and is underrated in my opinion. And that P-40 Warhawk pic awesome, that's one of the better craft we had too. I mean a cannon mounted above the engine, machine guns above the engine, then guns in the wings, and either a drop tank or bomb. The Germans had the BF-109 which had comparable armamnet, but the craft was slower and didn't have armor. I'm a big fan of even the WW1 craft. I mean it just seems weird that even though they knew they could produce planes with one wing as fighters they continued the Bi-wing design. And the idea of flyin in something made of wood and fabric has got to be thrilling. And simple technology won the day, but it was high tech for its time.[/img][/img] here's for contrast of the Mig to F-5 so you see what I'm talking about.

What about a new topic just for sharing aircraft geekiness love?   ;) ;D

I was Air Force for 4 years, married to an AF guy for 10 years during his career (then he retired) and I got to see lots of amazing crafts coming and going on the base, thoroughly enjoyed the Thunderbirds several times, but I don't think I have a single picture.
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.
