Here are a couple of my favorite plane, the P-47 Thunderbolt....

Would it surprise you to know I have two R/C versions of this one...a 63" and 76" wingspan?  One is the "razorback" and the other a later "D" bubble canopy model.

And the reason you have not invited me out to fly is????  :o I mean I do have a private pilot licence... ;D I was lucky enough to see one take off in front of me down in Houston. Did not have my camera in the plane that time.  :( But never again...

Heck, my own family doesn't want to go out to the field!  I welcome visitors...even give opportunities to fly!  You'd be amazed how many private pilots are into R/C.

Here are two of my favorite "flyers"...

The Jud! Always a favorite. When I was a just little a wee lad I remember 4 distinctive prints that hung in on me bedroom walls. They were the presidents of the U.S, astronauts of Apollo 11, flying tigers over Burma and P-47  thunderbolts strafing a train yard in Germany.
