I hope we can do a Steampunk invasion on some day other than Halloween. Maybe we can get some people together for one at Scarby.

The only time I'll be at Scarby will be for RenDezvous (& it's not guaranteed).  If there is enough interest, we could get one together for one day.

Clarendon, people w/mechanical/electrical talents have taken SP to soaring highs.  Love the goggles - I can't imagine doing all that tooling & wouldn't know where to even begin.  Gorgous work.

I think someone already said we aren't doing a steampunk thing during Rendevous. I mean you could definitely show up in it but there won't be an official thing. I may just decide to go in steampunk randomly. It could work since Greg and I have created personas for Steampunk and everything, we're time travelers so if anyone talks crap we can use that excuse hahaha...

I too have pics, but they're still on my husband's camera.  Might be a couple of days before I manage to get them off of there, but I will share them.

Despite running out of time to make my coat and pick up accessories, I am extremely pleased with how my costume turned out.

When it gets closer to RenDezvous & and it's clear that I'll be attending - which it's not at this time - I will start a thread asking if anyone is interested in another SP invasion.  Elo started this thread, but I'd posted an earlier thread about making an SP invasion on AHE some time prior to this thread.  I think everyone who was involved had a great time stretching their garbing muscles & showing off our handiwork last weekend.  Since my time will be very limited, if I go it will be in SP for one day with the other day in renware.

Or we could look at a day of renpunk.

SirRichardBear, not a problem at all, m'love.  I think that most, if not all, of us were SP virgins.  At any rate, it was maximum fun.

Thanks to our Good Queen Bonnie and her Royal Seal of Approval, the Sky Pirates are the official Steam Punk Chapter!  

The attending punkers in our group & a few select others should have rec'd the Winged Pick of the Sky Pirates, which were limited editions, never to be repeated.  I will be working on a new design, especially for RenDezvous.

Six whole months... maybe I can actually get a few more things finished this time!  LOL
