I found a little pack full of clock pieces at Hobby Lobby in the polymer section! I've made three pieces so far and still have a ton of gears leftover.

Awesome scarf.  I bought some rubber tentacles (to be worn on the fingers) today.  I need to affix them to something -- maybe a headband?

I love how I just toss out random ideas and Taffy brings them to life!  Kinda like a cosplay Dr. Frankenstein...  :D

maybe on that headband you can have the ends extended somehow and covered with the tentacles...Like when lolita headbands have long ribbons coming off the ends.
Things are shaping up to be...
Pretty. Odd.

So I go off for awhile and come back to neato ideas from everyone! Love to see what everyone is doing, now I just need to stop pulling so many hours in at work so I can attempt to get some of my projects done.

I'm still finishing up ray-gun #1 and I had a awesome brainstorm the other night for #2. Then to top it off a fun idea for clothing, and then a random wierd idea of a Steamy MIB.

Those are the ones that are currently percolating in my mind but if you were to give me a day or two I'd probably come up with plenty more ideas.

Please someone tell my brain to take a break. I don't have enough time to finish my current projects let alone start 2-3 more.
The mind is like a parachute, its best when open.

Steampunk Ghostbusters Tee of the Day: When there's something strange in your Victorian London neighborhood, who are you going to contact via speaking-tube? Why, the Spectral-Smashers, of course! They'll be right over in their horse-drawn Ecto-buggy.

Designed by Jerry Bennett, "Spectral Smashers" is Teefury's one-day-only tee of the day

I'm wearing a SP Star Wars t-shirt as I type.  The Death Star is a hot air balloon.  Flying my nerd flag with pride.

I pretty sure I have a dork flag, myself, since I just don't make enough money to be considered a real nerd, I think...  ::)  :D

Which came first?  Dork, I think, then nerd.  Is there a difference?

Nerds are the really smart socially awkward ones, that go to work for NASA, or IBM, or some video game developer... but I think dorks almost all go into either IT or some other sort of computer field, end up playing dress-up at Ren Faires and Cons, and rolling dice in the basement until they... well, I'm not really sure how they end up, since that would be our generation, huh?  ::)  :D

Pretty sure geeks still have to bite the heads off of chickens at carnivals, though...  ;)  LOL

(Disclaimer:  I have never actually SEEN a geek bite the head off of a chicken, but I DID go see Ozzy in Black Sabbath when I was 15... however, there was no biting during that particular show...)  :P

I like what a friend said in his podcast: when it comes down to it, most everyone is a nerd in some way whether you're a science nerd, a history nerd, a football nerd or a scrap-booking nerd...
When you die can you donate your body to pseudo-science?
