I was wondering that myself.  Still a little warm outside to be thinking winter though.

AGHAST!  :o

Only the coolest version of Santa exchange in the world!

Those who wish to participate fill out a simple survey (to tell a little about yourself), you get paired up with a mystery person, then you receive a gift(s) and send gift(s) which are often Ren related.

SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!

Isn't the actual exchange around mid-December, sometime around Christmas?  But if I remember correctly, the matchup was earlier.  I only participated when it was on the old forum two different times.  There was a thread that had a questionnaire that you filled out and posted, so whoever was matched up with your name had some idea of the kinds of things you liked.  I don't know if it crossed over to this forum.  And I don't think the woman who organized it back then has come to this forum, but I could be wrong.

Anyone know?

Correct summary.  It carried over to here. The threads are somewhere in the Squire's Tavern.

I loved the winter exchange. Got into it on the old forum. People started joining in Oct. You did the questionnaire and by mid Nov you were matched up with a mistery person. Soo much fun!
Who do we ask about doing it again?

Tammy

Royal Protector of Raccoons, Mistress of the Poi, Best Friend of Windland/Nim, Guppy, Seamstress for The Feisty Lady.

Well, we're almost to the end of Oct. Would someone like to take on the task, post new thread about the winter exchange?

Dinobabe

I'll do it!
Can't miss out, you know! ;)
