Neat. The costume reminds me of Boromir and Aragorn.

I know, I immediately thought it was a well done Boromir costume. :D I'm sure it was mildly inspired by it.
M'name's Cordelia Lyn, m'lards and ladies... Shall I be takin' ye portraits with me film of yon Fuji?

Manwariel

The king in the above picture reminds me of Miraz (from Prince Caspian), hehe.

My home Faire is Bristol Towne in the land of the Wisconsins.

Borderland is a place...nae, a conveyance between Day and Night, Sun and Moon, Here and There. Exactly where is difficult to say. Always look towards the West and the setting Sun.

 :D I was going through old photo albums and found these two pictures from the first time I went to the Renaissance faire in 1999. (I didn't go again 'til 2007). I didn't ask permission to post it from my siblings and friends that are in the picture, so I blurred their faces. ;p

Not faire related but got a new camera and lens and shot this. The photos were taken in the past few days.

I haven't been on the forum in a month or more. this morning i opened this page to idly dream of faire season and BAM! It's my husband. I bought him that 'coat' from Pendragon years ago. He didn't attend faire with me back then. Now, he's a regular getting his photo on the forum by real photographers. Times do change.

HI, Codi Lyn and Manwariel, I made the red shirt under leather coat and it is our intention to remind you of Boromir, the BEST looking man in the LOTR movies. It's just cotton with pearl beading and some awesome tall gold trim on the sleeves. The look needs a little hint of chainmaille and of course, the Horn of Gondor. Thanks for noticing.

You never know what you'll find on the "internet" these days!  ;)

Actually, if you attend MIRF or MMRF, you may want to see if your picture is in one of my online galleries.

I'm jonesing for faire...here's one of the Queen's guards from Stronghold Olde English Faire 2008:

If love be rough with you, be rough with love;
Prick love for pricking, and you beat love down. Romeo & Juliet, 1.IV

lordwriothsley

As a former yeoman of the guard myself I can vouch for that guy when I say that that is one of the toughest jobs ever at faire and even as part of the cast as well but he looked like he handled himself pretty well if you ask me.
