Thanks so much for the compliments, I worked very hard on it and am very happy it turned out as it did. Working with a pallet of only 2 colors leads to needed extra creativity to keep it interesting looking.  But Queen Elizabeth really liked the color combination of black and white, so I was aiming at an outfit of just those two colors which she would have liked also.  And for those Houstonians on here, I definitely recommend the Best Fabric store because they have amazing fabrics at great prices!

Don't know why I haven't posted this.  I premiered this at pirate invasion last year, but got there really late & didn't see any of the RF'ers.  What I like about this is that it can go either very pirate-y or as a walking out suit.  The guts of the coat were patterned on a Moresca Pirate bodice.  A love poem & a treasure map are "hidden" in the cuffs.
