Did laugh out loud at the geeks that clapped at the end of the movie..  :D

We saw it over the weekend.  Can't really say anything that has not already been said; the movie was incredible.  After years of watching poo dressed up with techno-BS, it was a blast to watch a great character driven movie with characters that we love.  The FX were done well, all the actors nailed their people;   it was a great ride.


And as far as upsetting the applecart.......Good.    The whole damn franchise was mired in the bliss of their own success.   This will force them to rethink stories, free them from canon, surprise us from time to time........

*MG raises her hand*  Um, VV and I were so geeked up to see this thing we saw it in Vegas.  AND we clapped.  So there.  (Let me tell you, most of the people in that theatre were so pastey white they looked like they'd just risen from their mom's basement.)

Well I for one did not clap at the end...it interfers with hearing the music for the end credits.  :D

I think it's the second best movie of the Star Trek movies, next to "Wrath of Kahn" which was terrific!

Loved the movie and will definately buy it when it comes out for public sale.
