Just a note to all of you who are hotelin' it!

There is a new hotel under construction and just about complete.  It is located west side on1488 at the intersection of 1488 & 2978 in Magnolia.

From the color of the building; it looks to be a new La Quinta.  No signage was up last time I went that direction, but the exterior paint is that really bright orangey/terra cotta/ baby spit up color.    looks like baby had carrots and squash for lunch nom, nom, nom, lol!

Well... With my current unemployment situation, plans that far out are 'uncertain'.  Hopefully I'll get a job by then, and it won't interfere with my TRF plans. If I'm working on Saturdays, I'll at least make it on Sundays. If I'm still unemployed, it may limit how much we can do.

Time and cash allowing, Shelley and my tentative plans at this time are;

Well as far as when .... we will be going during highland fling all weekend from friday afternoon till sunday after fair. As far as who we will be camping with....we do have a group of about 12-15 coming with us. So if there is room with one of the groups for that many more people we would be happy to family up with y'all. We are as yet a group of fairies and a satyr with a few exceptions. We will have loki and good times. This year we will only be there for that weekend for financial and by that time for new baby reasons. Next year however.......we will do at least the big three.

Ryk and M'lady Sherry are working on whether we will be able to make the 7 hour drive to TRF more than once. If so, we will come down on Pirate Adventure and Celtic Christmas. If not, we will hit somewhere in the middle and make Highland weekend. Either way we will arrive on Friday and stay in a motel the entire weekend or possibly camp one of the two weekends. A bit early, but we will decide in the next week or two.
