Hooray HUZZAH for PINK!!

This past fall/winter's project was a dupioni kirtle (as both an under and over gown). It's lined in linen (blend), and the brown bias neckline and bottom guard is of brown linen (blend). The trim was a gift that I'm glad I finally got to use on something pretty! 

It's 99% done. I just have to hem it, guard it, and add the sleeve lacing rings. Knowing me, that won't happen until the night before Opening Day.

Something I have been working on the past week.  Was browsing around the decorator fabric store and they had this lovely plum fabric on sale for $1 a yd and couldn't pass that up!  Its a heavy fabric but thought it would be perfect for some of the fall faires.

Still have a lot of finishing to do on the corset and the side and back panels of the skirt are going to be done in black.
