Yeah, I finally found more time to sit with the sewing machine and work on Lord Shadow's Doublet.  All I have left to do is sew on the buttons now.  These pics were taken with my camera phone so they are not of the best quality.

Something I have been working on the past week.  Was browsing around the decorator fabric store and they had this lovely plum fabric on sale for $1 a yd and couldn't pass that up!  Its a heavy fabric but thought it would be perfect for some of the fall faires.

Still have a lot of finishing to do on the corset and the side and back panels of the skirt are going to be done in black.

The color is beautiful! Lovely dress.

LadyShadow, I like that fabric! The doublet looks nice.

I am currently working on a new Arched Elizabethan Tall Hat for Lady DeLaney in a Hunter Green Velveteen. Will post photos when I have it finished.

Lovely things!

Can't wait to see that hat, Lady K.

I need to take a break from this era and get my Regency projects sorted out.

I hear you Kate!!

In between Alterations and Renaissance era clothing on the schedule for clients, I am going to sneak in a Civil War ensemble for an upcoming event I am attending the end of July in Boscobel, Wisconsin.  Then, a new 18th Century ensemble.

In the meantime, I will work on duplicating myself with a few more sewers.

Back in the past when I was substitute teaching, I had one school that frequently told me they wished they could shove me through the photocopier a few times when things got hectic!  So I sympathize.

This is my first ever french hood and is taking quite a bit longer than expected.  I just finished putting in the lining today.  It's almost finished, just need the organza frill, the veil and the upper billaments.

I just finished a Victorian Bell Topper hat for my Apprentice, Elizabeth,  Step-Father in time for CONVergence this weekend. A ner skirt for me to wear with my Leather Bodice.

Then I have Chemises and  Bloomers cut out for Elizabeth to get to work on for a MNRF Commission I have scheduled. I will also have her work on the Bodice as well. I will do the skirts.

I have several things I am working on for upcoming commissions. Like two new Corsets, A Viking made from Linen, and a Leather Bodice/Corse, etc. I have a lot on the plate before I have knee surgery on 16 July to repair torn Mensicus tissue behind my right knee. I will be down for a week at elast after surgery, 4 weeks total to heal.
