Steampunk and its growing following

The new SyFy channel show Warehouse 13 has a lot of Steampunk inspired gadgets... the stun gun, the video communicators, and the typewriter keyed computer key board to mention a few. The warehouse looks to be a place that Rennies and those of the Steampunk persuasion could have a really good time!

   Very sad this weekend... my apt. complex just took away the free cable, so now if I want my SyFy back I guess I'll have to pay for it...

ROFL... yeah, but either way, I'm gonna miss it! 

Ordered a pair of goggles last night, but they're actual army surplus, so the brass trim around the eye pieces has been painted black.  No prob, though, since I have a brass brush attachment for my Dremel that will take it off in next to no time!  They come in an authentically aged and dented brass tin, also, and they were only $20.  Of course, they'll need some few slight mods to make them a bit Steamier, but I think they'll work quite nicely!  Ordered a couple other goodies at the same time, but I'm saving those for surprises! 

I might need one last little shove to actually get those corsets (yes, I have decided on two!!!) ordered, so feel free to start pushing at any time...

I wish I had the connection for i-net viewing... I could watch all my fav episodes of everything!!!  LOL  Takes 5 times longer just to load something than it does to watch it, though, for me.
