Hugs and thanks to you all! Still fighting Nargles! I am under constant attack it seems! The A/C is doing fine. Now the pipe above my waterheater is leaking- a lot. Slow leak I did not notice as I am vertically challenged.
Waiting for the Plumber. I wish I would have just a few days with no problems!
I am down- but not out. Sigh.

All fixed! I hope there is no more headed my way- except good things! I could use a few happy times. Dreaming of TRF!!! This has been a difficult time.
Hugs to all.

Back from the Sherwood gathering. I went disguised as a Muggle. Not fun- but fun to see friends and perform. I won't to the Muggle thing again- but so hot I could not do else.
Back at Meow Manor- No A/C upstairs again.  The new breaker was not tripped.
Back to sleeping on the couch. The black cloud is back over my head. Will this never end? What to do next????

Understand the heat, hopefully there will be a sigh of relief from it here in TX.

Sorry to hear about the a/c again.  I hope it gets fixed soon.  My Hubby and Dad work in the a/c business, do I need to send them up there?

I had a friend of a neighbor come over. He worked in the A/C business. It is working- but not great. There are still problems. Loose wire, dead fried lizard and I did sleep upstairs last PM- but still not cool. Set at 70 degrees- it cools to 79. Ugh. I will be happy to get over this. I got royally ripped off by the A/c company. Sharging me for a service call- doing nothing and leaving me in the lurch over the weekend.  I am still very discouraged.

Sharing the A/C woes!  Our compressor quit yesteday evening.  It's an old system, so we bet it's dead.  Hoping to get someone from our home warranty company out today to see if it can be fixed.

Wish we could've sent some rain out your way - we had two good thunderstorms yesterday.

Oh Queen Bonnie, I hope it does get better.  I hate to mention this, but have you thought about reporting that business?

I will talk to them first. I am very discouraged and depressed about this all.

I had a bad feeling about that company! So sorry I do not live closer....my brother knows A/C and could help out...Sounds like you still have something wrong ask your friend to check the dryer....Sometimes that will cause what you describe...so many things are suspect. I do hope you get the Nargles under control. Our weekend went worse than yours though....We drove to Fredericksburg to race and during the saddling something went VERY wrong. Deuce flipped over and hit his head HARD and then he put all 4 legs through the wall boards. So we did not get to race and still do not know exactly way this happened as he is not like this...we ride him in all kinds of saddles and saddle him in many places... he has never even reared up or acted up while tacking up!  So we drove home with a VERY VERY sore shocky horse who is scraped up, bruised and depressed! I just hope that the swelling in the legs goes down and there is nothing major!  Bonnie...we will all get rid of the NARGLES soon! I KNOW IT!

Go and buy two homeopathic remedies...Arnica and Aconite and put a couple of pellets of each in a bucket of water for the poor equine person and they will do fine!

Hugs Cat! Poor  Deuce! So sad and sorry. DRAT FIE and insert very bad word here! Hope Deuce will be OK???? HUGS! We need ALL the wizards here to banish Nargles. They seem to be spawning in this heat. POOF!!! NARGLES BE GONE!!! Yikes! That was a nightmare!!!
I went to start my MeowMobile. It started but would not run. It kept cutting off. Check engine light came on!!!!! Yikes!
I panicked!!! Just then the neighbor came with his car mechanic friend.
It was only a split hose and another coming off the Air intake??? They fixed it.
Working now- I hope!  I am hot and very worn out from all this.
I am taking care of a friend's cats and plants for 9 days! I need the Meowmobile!
NO MORE problems!!! BEGONE!!! What is up with this???
I am beat!

Hi I use the arnica on bowed tendons but being he is a racing type hoss you can't give them stuff that could test... SOOOO We are doing the bute and cool water and he looks WAY better this PM... Our vet is really good and will be out in a few more days to check him over. He thought it best to let the swelling and soreness go before trying to work him over. We may send him to the swim hole for a week or 2 of RNR....Cool swimming pools do wonders.

Bonnie I think this super hot dry weather is a Nargles favorite breeding weather. We have the well people coming out to drill the new well this Friday if all goes well.... I just hope the Nargles don't attack their equipment! UGGHH.

Holes can be a pain. Things MUST get better!

If it is in homeopathic form it will not show on a test...For the tendons I would also add symphytum and ruta grav.  I dare say it would help.

I think we got lucky. All te swelling on the legs is gone and the tendons are tight and cool! He still seems a bit *off* but today he actually talked to me and seems to feel more himself. Gosh but that was scary! I love that big worthless beast more than anyone should! Guess that is why the big trainers and owners don't raise their horses!  Deuce is everyones favorite. He is simply so sane and so sweet. I am so glad he is going to be ok! Cat

I would still give him a dose of the remedies I mentioned to clear the injury he sustained...
