Possible System Claudette:
(From http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo_atl.shtml)
SATELLITE AND RADAR DATA INDICATE THAT A SMALL AREA OF LOW PRESSURE
IN THE EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO...CENTERED ABOUT 80 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF TAMPA...IS BECOMING BETTER ORGANIZED AND MAY BE DEVELOPING A
CLOSED SURFACE CIRCULATION.  ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE
FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND THERE IS A HIGH CHANCE...GREATER
THAN 50 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE
SOMETIME TODAY.  THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE NORTHWESTWARD OR
NORTH-NORTHWESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH TODAY.  INTERESTS ALONG THE GULF
COAST OF FLORIDA SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF THIS
SYSTEM.

Welsh Wench

It is 60 miles out from Tampa moving north-northwest looking to douse Apalachicola later tonight.

But it explains why it is so breezy out right now.

Thanks for the heads up, Kathryn!
Show me your tan lines..and I'll show you mine!

I just want to be Layla.....

So pretty and so helpful.  What a wonderful Fae.
I hope my life is an epic tale that ends well and everyone likes to read. --Grovdin Dokk

Anna Iram

Looks like Ana is going to have another go and look who's behind her. It's Tropical storm Bill! :)

 >:( I'd posted Ana and Bill's status too. Bu they're not here.
Oh dear! I guess they've eloped!  ;) :D

Anyway...

Looks like Ana won't be bothering us for the time being, it's supposed to go down to a depression after it crosses the islands; however, once it gets back in the gulf, all bets are off.
Bill's something that could still cause some problems, keep an eye out, especially those on the east coast.
Those in the panhandle, look out for Claudette as a tropical storm.
