We're leaving tomorrow for KOA in our converted firetruck.  Question: will they let us park a medium-sized truck in the parking lot at faire? And if not, can we hitch a ride with anyone who's staying at KOA?  (2 adults and 2 young kids...)

I have a Ford f250 long bed (well it was Romn's truck) and I have never had a problem. Also, what they have do is park buses, campers and/or RV's along the entrance fence so you might be asked to park in that area instead of the general parking. Bad thing is you might have to walk a bit, good thing you will be close to the exit to the parking lot.

Sounds like they have provisions for larger vehicles so we probably will not need the lift- but thanks so much.  Look for us- we'll be the revelers in the big red firetruck!  S

Got the camper all packed up and the car too!  3 sets of garb, food, and other essentials.  In about 3 hours I'm leaving work, heading home and hooking up the camper and heading to the KOA.  Hope to be there around 4 or so then its off to the meet and greet!  I'm so excited!  I just can't hide it.  I'm about to lose control and I think I like it!  OK maybe I shouldn't have gone there but I can't wait to get this whole thing started!  Its going to be a blast!

By the way, to let everyone know, you will be dealing with a suspected terrorist.  It seems the TSA gave Blue a hard time as she attempted to pass through security.  Details are unclear if a strip tease...er, strip search was performed, but they did eventually release her into the custody of her husband.
