One more manipulation...

Simple masking technique in Photoshop, but I've always liked the way the two meshed...  Sorry for the small size, but it's a copy of a copy of a copy... since the original is no longer on a computer that I own, and I have very little access to the one it is on.  Not much of a fan of Photobucket these days, either, since it seems to auto reduce things according to my connection speed...

Yeah.. I definitely agree, I'm in college and a good few of my friends are talking about taking trips abroad and trips with their parents.. I think it must be nice... And then one of my teachers said "after college, you won't have a lease, so just become a vagabond and roam the countryside of Europe"... Except for my thousands of dollars in debt I'll be in...

... Someday!

No, unfortunately.  It was just something I did when I was practicing different masking techniques.  They are lovely places, though.  One is in North Carolina and the other is in upper New England somewhere, if I remember correctly.  Both State Parks.

From this year's Calgary Stampede.  Fair food, fair food and more fair food.  Any type of fair food you could possibly imagine.  Possibly the only place on Earth I've found where you can buy a dyslexic German midget.  Deep fried.  And on a stick.

I just travel a lot; usually on business, but Calgary was mostly for fun (I also shot a monster truck competition while I was there, and almost managed to get run over twice.   Good times.) 

I'm working on getting to Vancouver in February, but my client may wind up having to hire a Canadian photographer, as the Canadians (and most host cities) are really tough on handing out Olympic media badges to non-citizens.  Their thinking is, "We paid a lot of money for these games, so we're going to get work for as many Canadians as possible".  Though I'm bummed out about possibly being denied access, I'd be lying if I said I didn't understand the logic behind it.

Two of my best friends in the whole world live in Calgary.  Oddly enough, I met them at a concert in London.  World's a small place.
