Hey Emerald - good to see you here again.  Have you ever spoken with TRF management regarding the "Visiting Performers" shows that are held on the TRF Falconer's Stage?  The Ladies of the Salty Kiss might do quite well there.   ;)

Sir Martin! what a pleasure to be back on the forums again.  Hmmm... no I have not as this is the first time I've heard of such a program.  I will indeed have to speak with Mangament (Mr. Jeff Baldwin is ED still, correct?) and see what might transpire.  I'm going to guess it is to late for such an arrangement this season but, perhaps for the 2010 season.  Thank you ever so much for the tip, I do truly appreciate it!  Will I/we get to see you at TRF either weekend we are down there? (Pirate Adventure and Celtic Christmas)?

Until then be well and safe

Jeff is still ED. It will be good to see you at TRF Emerald Shaunassey! I hope to TRY to make most weekends.

Excellent!  Thank you Queen Bonnie!  It will be most wonderful to see you again as well, perhaps we'll have the opportunity to hoist a tankard together at one of the pubs.

Until next our paths cross,

Please do get in touch with Mr. Baldwin.  I don't know exactly how the "Visiting Acts" thing works, but they do have performers appear who are not regularly scheduled on other stages.  Looks like it works out for them quite well sometimes.  For example, Clan Tynker was a visiting act on the Falconer's Stage last year and will be featured every weekend this season on the Castle Stage.  Queen Anne's Lace also performed one weekend last season with The Bard O'Neil (and perhaps others) at the Mockingbird Music Gazebo.  They won't be at TRF this season but they will be in the studio recording a new CD.  The German Twins also performed one weekend.

I will probably be at TRF on 4 or 5 different weekends this season.  On the days you are there, please stop by the Prince Of Wales Pub after the parade and say hello to fellow R/Fers.

The Kilte Troupe will make the annual pilgrimage the weekend of October 24 and 25.  As always we will be conquering a small parcel of land to nap on in between the multitude of vices in which we will partake.  See you on the grounds or in the pub.

We'll be there every Saturday except Barbarian and maybe one other.

Right now, the only weekend I'm sure of is Halloween.  With the 'rents coming in for thanksgiving, if I camp it will be arriving on friday.  And I've decided to forego Opening Weekend for something else, sorry.

I'll probably camp another weekend but I'm not sure which one yet.

Please bring your Kilte Troupe to McLotofus for inspection by the Empress. It's necessary... (pssst, that's Row 8 to you)

The Drunk Monks will be there November 13, 14, 15 and some leaving the 16th.
If they reopen again on Thursday, I/some of us will of course be there on the 12th.
Chocolate Covered Fig Newtons will be our atonement and we would like to be on the hill once again.
Last year was the greatest of years and we would like to continue to camp with-in the trees.
I do not speak for the monks but my closest estimate as of today is 26 with 12 monks and 14 in support of our thirst.

Please take us off the list for Opening Weekend...I am no longer employed so we will not have enough funds to attend.

We have been offered discounted tickets, which we really and truely appreciate, but there is still the issue of gas (I have a gas gussling Ford F250 V10) food and beverages to consider.

We have talked about it and if we can only attend one weekend, it will be AHE,  but we haven't given up on closing weekend yet...just have to wait and see.  Pray that I can get another job pretty soon...

Hugs Lady Ann. Bummer. I hope you find a job soon.  We will miss you all. I am on a shoestring budget too for TRF. Tailgating is a good thing for that.  Ye olde PB&J comes in handy.

We'll consider that an invite.  Are you a fan of the "speed bump" style kilt inspection?  It just requires a person to lie on the ground (in a static position) whilst we march about to and fro...
