Will try and get some more pix today, and post asap, but there was a good showing of Steampunk down at Dickens on the Strand!

Where is Dickens on the Strand? I've also heard of it but can't place where it is.

What I wanna do is go out to Dallas during the holidays and go check out the lights in the Park Cities as the last time I was there they had tours via Horse Drawn Sleigh, now that would be a fun photo op.

That or The Southern Cruzers car show this summer, someone has an old Dusenburg..I think its roughly the same time-frame as a Model T, only no roof and the couple who drive it have re-enactor style clothes. ;D

It's a one weekend street festival in Galveston in December.  I went yesterday and saw Lady Elizabeth and (I'm sorry - I don't know her friend's name) there, watched the Bilge Pumps, and bought some of my favorite sweets at a shop.  On the way home, it rained cats and dogs and elephants.  Will post a few pics later.
Sveethot!

Oh, nice!  Can't wait to see them!!!

It was a glorious weekend of Steaminess!!!  My gown turned out gorgeous!  And quite sexy, well more sexy than planned... bodice was a bit lower in front, teehee!  THe bustle was gorgeous, the days were so much fun!  We were asked to join the parade both days and we did.  We also met a very cute man at arms for the Queen and hung with him and the Princess most of the evening having a blast!!  Sun was a bit rainy, but we still had lots of fun with some other rennie friends.  I just adore my new garb and can't wait to wear it again at Ikkicon.  I hope to make a few new pieces which are nice and steamy, one being an umbrella all decked out.  I'm also going to buy a wrist cuff for my ipod which should rock!

Old City Park (now Heritage Village) in Dallas has their Candlelight performances this coming weekend.  Rumor has some Steampunk/Dustpunk may show up...

Thanks for the heads-up Capt Marga. I shall have to keep that in mind next time I'm in town visiting my mom. I don't think my husband would care for a trip across country for one day. Though I wouldn't mind. LOL.

Amazing pics!!! Too bad my finacial situation has been so bad or I might have made the trip.
No flag no country, you can't have one.

Cool pics.  You all look awesome!

Found another West Coast steam oportunity.  Faerie Worlds, the big (I think, having not made it down there yet) faery convention/music festival in Oregon is having a winter show this year.  Next year?  It's in January.  One of the bands, featured on their "bad faeries" day, is Abney Park.  I suspect there will be many Steampunk fae there.

I'm hoping to go.  No idea if schedule/finances will permit, but if they do, I will make sure to bring a camera.  Anyone else interested?  I think the website if Faerieworlds.com, but I'm too lazy to check at the moment.  If you google it, it's really easy to find.
