Very lovely in its simplicity. Well done.

Drac

This is some of my wife's work from last year's season.  Once we get geared up I'll try to get some shots of the whole ensems.

This is the doublet I wear with my kilt -

Her dress.  I really liked it and she got several complements but she wasn't to happy with it.  I think it's like my knife work.  Once you stare at something for that long you see all the mistakes.

Lady Isabella what pattern did you use for your doublet/jacket?

Got all my pictures online finally so here it goes.
My daughter Kendyl. Her first year with the court. She loves the big skirts.

My sister Dodie. This dress also has different sleeves and a forepart. This was Pirate Weekend.

My doublet dress. I love this one. Very warm on those rainy days in February. I also have a bodice
to go with the skirts. Made of velveteen.

This is my favorite dress. The sleeves are a faux fur I found at Walmart. Super cheap. Very soft.

Beautiful work. Love the one with fauz fur as it reminds me so much of my Katherine Parr dress I have (made by Lady Kathtleen)

Margo Anderson "The Elizabethan Lady's Wordrobe". I really like the pattern, the collar stands to high for me. Maybe I have a short neck. LOL. I made the Paned Sleeves. The sleeves were really easy. I love them. I have plans to make the same for my Red dress.

it...is...done

it took me about a week to get the energy to clean my sewing area, so that i can start working on my new underbust corset. it is finished! and i love it!
too bad my dress dummy doesnt have any curves :(

I made it about 10 inches smaller than my actual waist line since it wont be worn until April, and since I have had gastric bypass in December, Im hoping to lose it by then!

Now to work on my black and white jacquard print corset that I have been dying to make. I think it will be an overbust corset :) with straps
