Castillo de Peñíscola is a Valencian castle located on the Costa del Azahar along the eastern Mediterranean coast of Spain.

Originally built between 1294 and 1307 by the Knights Templar, in the fourteenth century it was garrisoned by the Knights of Montesa, and in 1420 it reverted to the Crown. From 1415 it was the home of the schismatic Avignon pope Benedict XIII (Pedro de Luna). Movie afficionados might recognize the setting for El Cid.

Rathlin Castle is a ruin on the Island of Rathlin off the coast of Northern Ireland.

In 1306 after being defeated by Sir Aymer de Valence at the Battle of Methven and then by the Lord of Lorne at the Battle of Strathfillan, King Robert I of Scotland retired to Rathlin Castle for the winter with a small following of his most faithful men, including James Douglas, Lord of Douglas, Bruce's brothers Thomas, Alexander and Edward, as well as Sir Neil Campbell and Malcolm II, the Earl of Lennox.

Nimrod's Fortress is a medieval fortress situated in the northern Golan Heights, Syria.

The fortress was built around 1229 by Al-Aziz Uthman, nephew of Saladin and younger son of Al-Adil I, to pre-empt any attempt on Damascus by the Sixth Crusade.

Red Bay Castle is situated in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on a headland projecting into the sea.

Built by the Bisset family in the 13th century on the site of an ealier motte-and-bailey outposts of the Kingdom of Dál Riata. The Bisset family were forfeited of their lands in Scotland and fled for their lives to Ireland after Walter de Bisset was accused of the murder of Patrick, Earl of Atholl, at Haddington, East Lothian in 1242. King Henry III of England granted Bisset large possessions in the Barony of Glenarm, Ireland.

Today I have been on a fruitless serch for a castle in Uzbekistan.
Outer wall Kanka Castle
Description from Unescao world heritage site
A site of ancient settlement of Kanka in the territorial and administrative attitude is located in 80 km in the southeast from Tashkent, in the southeastern outskirts of Eltamgali settlement. It is the ancient and one of the large city centers of Tashkent oasis. Kanka is the first capital of Chach state, small estate of Kanguy. Monumental fortification walls with towers surround the huge territory of more than 160 hectares. There are three cities inside, allocated into each other, and each of them by own fortification, curtains and ditches.

Well, on Google Earth, the "N41 12 E68 59" Coordinates are only about 20 km from Tashkent.
So, either the "... 80 km in the southeast from Tashkent ..." or the Coordinates need to be updated in their description of the site.
The areas that are 80 km southeast of Tashkent seem to be more lush and green than what's shown in the Panoramio photo.  I did notice that "HJMB", the person who posted the photo, left a comment that says, "Position unclear".

Khotyn Castle is a fortification complex located on the shores of the Dniester River in Khotyn, Chernivtsi Oblast (province) of western Ukraine.

Construction on the current fortress was started in 1325, while major improvements were made in the 1380s and up into 1460s.

Shane's Castle is a ruined castle in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Built in 1345 by a member of the O'Neill dynasty, it was originally called Eden-duff-carrick. Shane MacBrien O'Neill changed the name to Shane's Castle in 1722.

Preze Castle is a castle in Preze, western Albania.
Map coordinates 41.431, 19.672Preze Castle overlooks the village with the same name and is located on a hilltop. It is a small castle the construction of which started in the 14th century and was completed in the early 15th century and belonged to the Topias, a local feudal family.

Garni Berd is a castle and temple complex located in the Kotayk Province of Armenia.

The systematic excavation of the site has unearthed six successive occupation layers. The earliest traces of habitation date back to the eneolithic period. A Bronze Age and a Classical layer followed by three distinct medieval layers complete the occupation history of the site.
