Glanegg is a castle in Carinthia, Austria.

In the history of the castle is first documented in 1121. The first owner was the Duke Henry III of Carinthia. After his death in 1122 it was inherited by his nephew, Count Bernhard von Marburg.

The castle [ur=lhttp://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burgruine_Hochwart]Hochwart[/url] (also Hohenwart) is a castle south of the village Köstenberg in the municipality of Velden am Wörthersee in Carinthia, Austria. The castle is also known as the "Black Castle".

In the mid-12th century the duke was Henry V of Carinthia who probably built the castle. Duke Henry's brother Hermann in 1162 sold the castle to the Bishop of Gurk.

Castle Navahrudak (also Novogrudok) in Navahrudak, Belarus was one of the key strongholds of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

As early as the 14th century, Navahrudak is known to have possessed a stone tower along the lines of Tower of Kamyanyets. Other fortifications were of timber. The castle was stormed by the Teutonic Knights under Heinrich von Plotzke in 1314. Although the attack was not successful, the tower sustained substantial damage.

Kasteel Beauvoorde is a double moated castle in Beauvoorde in Wulveringem in the municipality of Veurne, West Flanders, Belgium.

Wulfringhem', heem van Wulferus' mensen is mentioned in 1128 in records as the Saxon knight Wulfahari who built a castle.

Château de Beloeil is situated in the municipality of Beloeil in the province of Hainaut, Belgium.

Citadel Pocitelj is a castle in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is supposed that the fortification and its attendant settlements were built by Bosnia's King Stjepan Tvrtko I in 1383.

Tsepina is a castle in the western Rhodope mountains, southern Bulgaria.

In the Middle Ages Tsepina was one of the most important Bulgarian fortresses in the Rhodope region. The Bulgarians took the castle in the 9th century but with the end of the First Bulgarian Empire in the beginning of the 11th century the Byzantines conquered it.

Preslav Fortress was the capital of the First Bulgarian Empire from 893 to 972 and one of the most important places of medieval Southeastern Europe.

The name of Preslav is of Slavic origin; apparently it was initially founded and functioned as a Slavic settlement until its fortification at the beginning of the 9th century.

Zrinski Frankopan Castle is in the County of Primorje-Gorski Kotar county,Croatia.

Castle Zrinski Frankopan with the park in Severin na Kupi was the possession of old family plemieke Frankopan by the middle of XVI century. It has a square ground plan and internal yard and halls with arcades, and outside corner cylindrical towers.

Cesky Sternberk is a castle in a town of the same name in the Czech Republic.

Rakvere (aka Ordensburg) is a castle in a town of the same name in northern Estonia.

On 12 June 1302, Rakvere was granted Lübeck rights. When the Danish king sold Danish Estonia to the Livonian Order in 1346, a large castle was built on top of the previous stronghold. The Ordensburg was protected by towers and courtyards.

Barwick-in-Elmet Castle is in the village of Barwick-in-Elmet, West Yorkshire, England.
