Some stuff from this morning before I went and performed stupid jet ski tricks.
How far will a 230 pound body fly off of a jet ski at 45 mph?  I finally know the answer.

Here are a few from our trip out west:

Tons of fun!

Nice shots from out West.  That first one reminds me of "Dirt Dobber" nests.   :D

My parents took about 3 months last Fall, driving from Clearwater, MN to McAllen, TX - via Seattle, WA (and up into Canada), and then down the coast of Oregon and California visiting friends and relatives.  At the beginning of October, I flew out and traveled with them for a week in Central California, and had a great time.  I believe they're going to Australia this Fall. Wish I could go with them on that trip!

Here's a photo taken 1-Oct-09 at Yosemite National Park.  In the Spring and early Summer, snow-melt in the mountains would be pouring over Upper & Lower Yosemite Falls in the background.

Lady Rosalind! I sculpted a mountain out of mashed potatoes that looked just like that top photo!  :D

David, Yosemite is really beautiful in the winter as well. We spent 3 days between XMas and New Years out there camping in 2008. Some great shots, people!

This is a HDR tone mapped version of a photo I shot for one of my blogs. Photoshop CS5 has a tone map function that's lets you do HDR with one image. I was using a point and shoot w/o a tripod.

It was shot at the US Air and Space Museum in Huntsville.

This is me (in the middle) as Anthony Woodville, Earl Rivers in an outdoor production of Shakespeare's Richard III. I'm standing between Lord Richard Grey and Elizabeth, the queen to King Edward IV. Picture was taken by my wife during opening night. For all 109 shots, go here. They're in (mostly) reverse order - the first pic should be somewhere toward the middle with the other coronation pictures, and otherwise they're in order from end to beginning.

Basic landscape-y type stuff shot on the way back to Calgary from B.C.  Heading home tomorrow.  Been a great two weeks, but I can actually hear all of the work piling up back at my office.

When I arrived at work this afternoon, there were a couple of Dragonflies perched nearby - watching and waiting...  ;)

This is a 1280x1024 crop of a Dragonfly on an overhead power line.

It is a good time to take photos of dragonflies, they were feeling pretty playful up at my cabin :)

Well, Saturday was the Worldwide Photo Walk, and I led one at Riverside Cemetery in Moline, Illinois. Here are a few of my faves:
