Advance tickets need to be purchased by 9/24

edit 9/19 since no one's doing group tickets your best chance for a good discount is to purchase advance tickets before 9/24.

It looks like the cutoff may be September 24. I hope someone does a group purchase by then.

Looks like the group tickets are $1 cheaper than the Advance ticket price of $16 each for adults, but there's also a $1 fee tacked on to each ticket when ordering online.  Does anyone know if this fee applies to the group tickets, as well?

Sorry guys...been a bit busy this year and things caught up with me.  Anyway, I just don't think I have it in me to set it all up this year.  If someone want to take it up and handle all the money more power too them but for this year at least it won't be me.  SORRY!

I bought my advance tickets today and the price wasn't much more than the group tickets. However these will only be available through September 24, so you might want to get tickets soon to save money.

The noob needs some ticket guidance:  So, advance tickets are $16/adult, and have to be purchased by the 24th.  BUT, the weekend pass (which you can't buy online, which is kind of weird) is $32.  So, basically same price as the advance for two days, but can only be purchased at the gate or on the phone.

I guess my question is, what's the upside/downside of waiting to buy the weekend pass at the gate? Ridiculously long lines? Hidden "same day" fees? I'd like to be prepared and have tix in advance, but if it's the same price to just buy the weekend pass when we're there, we may as well just wait. Thoughts, advice?

If you are camping you have to have a ticket to get into the campgrounds.  They usually sell tickets at the guard hut, and they probably also have the weekend pass there as well.

There is also a surcharge of $1 per ticket if order online.  I'm not sure if that also applies to phone orders.

I emailed Pat at TRF and asked about the passes... same price at the gate as if you called.  I noticed last year that neither ticket, on the pass, is marked Sat./Sun... so you may be able to use both on 2 Sundays like i did. (or 2 Saturdays)

If you're lucky enough to get to go that many times...  For us, AHE weekend is it, I'm afraid.    But at least we'll be there!!!
