Oh, yes, that reminds me... my +1 is also not only a TRF virgin, but she's never been to a hard site before, either.  Our home Faire is a one weekend soft site, with only a very few period tents, and this will be the only other Faire she's ever been to... 

But it's only a hard site after dark...oh wait.

Ok, late to the game...been an insane year. The lady Adela and myself will be camping opening weekend and All Hallows Eve weekend with the Celtic Rogues, and probably go crash with Pheonix Risen for Thanks giving.

Hard sites have permanent buildings, while soft sites are all tents and disappear after the Faire is over.

hmmmm think bringing both of my cloaks , three pairs of boots ,multiple belts, several caps is a little much I just never know what I might need. I always pack extra stuff, never know when someone might appreciate that extra pair of gloves or a belt.
Still my clothes chest is a wee bit over stuffed right now. I figure the heavy cloak can go on the bed, and the extra foot wear can go under the bed. Good thing I'm camping in my horse trailer. Hope to see some of you there! Come by shoppe #145 The Wee Peeple Doll Shoppe and say hello'.

So I put together a new map but I have not put all the clans on it yet - cuz I'm working on while waiting for the fiberglass to dry (o:

Its been 7 years for me and my lady but I am coming opening weekend.

6 of us and we usually camp around G-6 according to that handy map above.
