Panemune Castle is a castle in Vytenai, Jurbarkas district, Lithuania.

The initial hillfort of the Teutonic Knights (erected 1343) was replaced by a castle built in 1604-1610 and reconstructed around 1759 by Gie?gud family.
You can still see remnants of the original moat system.

Burg Hohenzollern is a castle about 50 kilometers (30 mi) south of Stuttgart, Germany.

Hohenzollern was originally constructed in the first part of the 11th century. By the end of the 18th century, however, the castle was thought to have lost its strategic importance and gradually fell into disrepair, leading to the demolition of several dilapidated buildings. Today, only the chapel remains from the medieval castle. The current version was built in 1867 as a family memorial and was styled after the Loire Valley Chateaux.

Trakai Island Castle is located in Trakai, Lithuania on an island of Lake Galve.

The construction of the stone castle was begun in the 14th century by K?stutis, and around 1409 major works were completed by his son Vytautas the Great, who died in this castle in 1430.

The Château de Differdange is a castle in Differdange , in the south of Luxembourg.

The foundation was laid in 1310 by a brother of the order of Knight of Soleuvre. There were several owners before the castle was burned 1552. In 1577 the castle was restored by Anne of Isembourg.

Borg Verhildersum is in Leens, The Netherlands.

The moated castle was originally built in the 14th century and was continually occupied until 1953. Verhildersum now houses a museum.

Castillo de Cuevas del Almanzora is a town of the same name in Spain.

The Castle is a Gothic fortress palace built by Don Pedro Fajardo in 1507, the first Marqués de los Vélez, and subsequently restored in the eighteenth century. There is some evidence that it was built on the ruins of an 11th century Moorish castle.

Beaufort Castle is a castle in northern Scotland, near Beauly. It is the traditional seat of the chiefs of the Clan Fraser, and the 13th castle on that site.

The original castle was built by the Byset family during the reign of William I. The Byset or Bisset clan had come with William from Normandy. Beaufort Castle was built in 1885 and bears little resemblance to its medieval predeccesor.

Château de Beaufort is a ruined castle located along the upper reaches of the Loire River in France. It is near the village of Goudet.

It was built in the 13th century and modified in the 15th and 16th centuries. The ruined shell is difficult to access.

Coevorden Castle is a fortified house and monument in Drenthe in the Netherlands.

In its oldest form, the castle was a motte with a wooden tower that was surrounded by moats and wooden walls. From the twelfth to the fifteenth century , the castle inhabited by the Viscounts of Coevorden. It is interesting that the moat system for the castle was mostly filled in when the entire town was converted to a star fortress.

Steinvikholm castle is an island fortress on the Skatval peninsula near Stjørdal, Norway.

The castle was built over seven years, from 1525 to 1532, for Norway's last Catholic archbishop, Olav Engelbrektsson.

Attock Fort guards the River Indus in Attock Pakistan.

Besiekiery Castle is at the edge of Besiekiery, Poland.

Bobrownikach Castle is between the village of Bobrowniki and the Vistula river in Poland.

Castelo de Amieira sits in the ancient village of Amieira, midway between Belver and Nisa , was part of the call line of the Tagus, frontier defense line on the south bank of the Tagus River, Portugal.
