Okay, so technically it's not a sewing project, but I finally finished my costuming website. Please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions about improvements than can be made!

Syrilla~  Holy-Damn!!!  Stunning indeed!   Is there more photos?  I would love to see more.

Lady Rebecca~  Nice site.  I like that it's straightforward and easy to navigate.  Well organized and it appears easy to add to with more projects  ;-)

I was just going to PM Syrilla and express my admiration for the dress in her profile pic!

Excellent dress, your Majesty!!!! I wish I could see it in person!

The King at the Chippewa Valley Renaissance loved his shirt so much for ease of fit and the decorations, he ordered another one from the La Gazza Pazza vendor there that I am joint-venturing with. This one has Red decorative stitching with the Black serged edging on the ruffs. The King has red, black, and Gold in his Royal Garb.

This shirt gets sent out today in time to be worn this weekend.

By the way, the festival was awesome for its second year. I recommend attending if you are close enough for a road trip.

I made a few different costumes for this past season of GARF. In chronological order,

I made this dress and chemise for my sister:

My boyfriend made his shirt, doublet, and pants, and I made his hat and my hat, dress, and shirt:

We made pirate garb for the premiere of PotC4. I made my bodice and shirt and altered the hat, and he made his pants, vest, shirt, and hat.

And most recently, I made this chemise, bodice, waist cincher (with a bit of my boyfriend's help) and skirt:

Very lovely and wonderful job. I love the blue you used in the last bodice you made. Absolutely perfect.
May the stars always shine upon you and yours.

Beautiful work, Manwariel.  May I ask you what pattern you used for the hat you made to go with the green garb?  Thanks!

Since last season, my wife has lost about 100 lbs. As we head to Valhalla (for our 10th anniversary no less) she needed new garb. I decided that she needed a real corset. This was the first time I tried using the duct ties instead of multiple rolls of featherweight boning. That stuff was so much easier to work with. And thanks to everyone who has pointed out the stuff, and that it isn't generally in the area with zip ties. Not too sure about the spiral lacing. It is so much quicker and easier, but I've yet to be able to have it sit even.

While it needs some trimming, I also produced my first successful side back laced bodice. We had originally intended on making it reversable. Once it was together, the lavender wasn't really what either of us envisioned, and I have a feeling it'll mainly be worn as the teal. Plans are already in place to use the bodice kind of like a mock-up for a kirtle. The straps are a tiny bit off.

Next up is probably a new skirt to go with, but out next fair is a few weeks off, so I have some time.

For spiral lacing the holes should not be not symmetrical, except the upper and lower one. Read why here:

Cool that duct ties worked so well!

Hoowill, tell your wife congratulations on the weight loss.  I shed 70lbs, and I know how hard that is.  She is looking fantastic!

Love the stays and bodice, too.

Manwariel you are such a pretty young lady and your garb is lovely!  I personally love a cute matching couple so I covet your outfits, and the fact that you two work together on projects.   Wonderful.

Hoowil.   Your wife doesn't perhaps want a sister wife so you can make me a corset like that too!?!  Great work!
