So far i've gotten some whifs that I might get some commissions out of it.  Even the PP has been eyeing it.  I'm not sure how it would work out to see him trying to go to scarby in a pink leather doublet.  ;D

Maybe he would go for a black base with his customary pink for the trim?  That way he could wear the pink for everything else, and have the doublet as the showpiece...

I'm just curious of him melting in the pleather doublet.  ;D If he is going to have a "pink" doublet it will be ALL pink, minus trim.  :)
I just think it is going to turn out cool. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yesterday I started a project.  I turned this:

Into this:

Obviously, I have a lot left to do but I was pretty pleased to be able to have gotten that much done in one day while still managing to keep a reasonably clean house with the three monsters running amuk!

Looking good Lady Fae. I see you have been to SR Harris. I will be going there tomorrow.

I have the Bathory Bodice somewhat together. i ran out of B ias Tape to finish off the back side and the front. I will have to run off to JoAnn's to get more. Theer are 12 boning channels between the 2 layers of Canvas Duck to give the Bodice a smooth look. I used the SIMPLICITY Tudor pattern for the Bodice. It resembles Margo's in cut and construction.

The Unfinished Bodice. I have yet to finish it, sew on the buttons and pearls about the waitsline and buttons down the front panel, sew in the lining, mark where the grommets are going to go. Then the Ruff and Headpiece..

That truely is beautiful.   Nothing like red velvet to make it regal.  Your craftsmanship is so nice.

We need to add more trim to the skirted part of the doublet, and them studds to the gauntlets but I like how this looks.  BTW the guy who is playing Hercules is seriously jelous!
