Gotta love Halloween season! I had made my neice a little tutu for her to be a kitty, it is adorable! But she wanted nothing to do with it, I mean running away when I tried to fit it to her. I had a little princess dress that I had made for my oldest neice in 05', my other neice fell in love with that dress. It was like 6 inches too long for her, so I took it up leaving the hem so I can let it down over time, took it in so that I can let it out too. I added some extra trim to it to hide where my other neice wore it out and now I am waiting for the glue to dry on the gems that I added to the bodice soo here it is. I will post the finished picture in the Finished thread tomorrow after the Halloween carnival.

Oh I also went Scarlet O'Hara and made her a little cloak out of a pink satin curtain that I had stashed.

That's what the best-dressed sized will be wearing this Spring. It looks great, Lady K!

Can't wait to see you in this!!!  It's beautiful, and you will be the best dressed wizard there!

Lady K, that looks fabulous!

Merlin, I agree with Rani. You will be the best dressed wizard at Scarby for sure.

Adriana, the dress is adorable. I hope you'll take pictures of your niece for us.

I'm currently working on my first noble ensemble. This is the underskirt and overskirt on "Bonnie".

That will be gorgeous, Evie! ... Is that your Les Paul in the background?

Merlin, thank you. I hope to wear it to Scarby next spring.

The Les Paul is my husband's. He likes to collect guitars. I decided to date him when i heard him play "Mary had a little lamb" by SRV. That was 15 years ago.

Can't wait to see you in your new garb!

Thank you for the compliment Archer, although I know I'm not the only one you were referring to.

Your gown is going to be gorgeous.  The skirt and forepart are beautiful.

Evie, may I please ask you where you found the green fabric?  I had posted in another thread that I am looking for a green noble type fabric to go with the green hat in my avatar.

That fabric is so beautiful.  If you purchased it in a fabric store, I'd like to take my hat to see if the colors are close enough.  If you ordered online, perhaps I can purchase a swatch from them.

Thanks!   ;D

Lady Renee, I bought the whole bolt for 35.00 at our WalMart years ago when they were getting rid of the fabric dept. So sad. Now I have to drive 2 hrs to get anything nice or order it.

Adrianna, the fabric is not HA but I just love it. "Bonnie" was one of my favorite teachers in high scool.

Lady K, I can't wait to get it done. Hope it turns out half as nice as your products. Your Victorian is sooooo gorgeous.

Thank you all for your compliments, it gives me a sense of accomplishment. You're all very sweet.  :) :-*

Evie, you got a great deal on that green fabric!  It's really pretty.

I will wait patiently, as one day, when I not looking for anything, the right fabric will just appear -at least I hope so!

Thank you, Evie. I am honored that you consider me an inspiration. There are things I am still learning to do.

A wig that I bought on eBay to go with that Victorian ensemble for Halloween and SciFi/Fantasy Conventions when I do my Victorian Steampunk Vampire. I do the pale makeup, eye shadows, etc., to get that "undead look".

Black wig with Burgandy highlights. I did a Google search on Burgandy Wigs(for something completely different) and this came up for one from eBay.
