Lady Kathleen of Olmsted

An ensemble for a Tall and Slender client. There are over 500 6mm glass pearls hand sewn onto the wide trim. Italian Bonnet has 8mm glass pearls in the hat band.

Here's my latest:

that's me picking berries at Bristol, but here's a better pic of the whole ensemble:

I'm planning of getting some better photos of just me the first time I wear it to MNRF.
For those who are really interested it's a kirtle, and doublet worn over my corded petticoat. It was super comfy this weekend in the rain and the color doesn't show dirt or mud!

A new Doublet for Lord Steven Buchannan. After tearing apart the Royal Coffer's Tunic I redid last year, I decided to just start from scratch. The other was just not going to work as I had hoped.

So What the heck!!!  I had this Waverly fabric I ordered last year that I just love, and went to town in lless than 3 days. Ia lso fashioned a Black Velveteen Italian Bonnet to go with the Doublet with plumes of Burgandy, Gold, and White.(not shown)

Lady K, it is beautiful, beyond gorgeous, and Steve is going to love it.  He's at work now, so hasn't seen the pictures, but if I'm up when he gets home, I'll show him a sneak preview.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Well, I decided to put off my noble garb, until I get a bit more sewing experience.  But I finished the garb I will be wearing to GLMF next weekend:

I will start on my pirate garb this week, and maybe one or two more faire garbs, before I tackle the "big one" for the Sept/Oct fests. I can't find ANY ostrich feathers around this town :(
