LadyStitch

Sadly no pics yet but I somehow got into a groove and I have all but some hand stitching to do on the neck line, and add the black velcro, and the baby pink pirate outfit will be done.  The PP is already plotting what she will be wearing come Halloween and TRF.

I finally got the correct thread and got the baby smock that matches my new outfit done.  All that is left is the hand stitching on the bonnet.  I think the bonnet needs something... more but not sure.  I'll send pictures when done.

Soon as I have them completly done I'll post pictures.

It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Very nice Lady Kathleen.
Same fabric as my dress in my avatar picture!

OH Such pretty stuff.  I love the draping of the "sack back" gown.  That is going to be lovely.  And Lady K.. that blue is so clean and striking!   I really love it.  A great example of how simple can be totally over the top!

Merlin the Elder

Sidekick is going to look smashing in that, Lady K.  I'm coming up with ideas for some more stuff from you....

I figured as much Merlin!  ;)

This part of the Doublet is finished. I still have the sleeves to do. I have so much to get done this week before i fly out West for 2 weeks. I may finish the sleeves out in Nevada if I do not get them done by Saturday. But you never know.

The Cotton lining is a Royal Blue which will match well with the Blues in the tartan.

Showing Button and Piping detail. The bottom hem edge of the Doublet is also piped.

The cat, Jasper, thinking the skirts of the mock-up are his own personal fort.

The front of the mock-up.   I plan on trying it on tonight to see if there are any final changes that are needed before actually cutting the silk taffeta.   ;D

For Lady Kett's family project, I just cut out the Tudor Chemise, Farthingale, and Underskirt with Forepart for her daughter. Then a Petticoat for Lady Kett to go under her Venetian gown. This will keep Elizabeth busy while I am gone for 2 weeks in Nevada.

Now on to the Ancthus leaf design for Lord Dragon's Captain Teague Coat that I will draw out by hand. Photos when I am finished.

The original Captain Teague coat Ancthus Leaf design....

My free hand drawn copy.

What I did was fold paper so that I could get mirror images of the leaf shapes. Then I am going to trace this onto Plastic canvas for a permanenet pattern for the second coat I am going to do later this year.

I have left over Gold Silk that I am going to iron on Interfacing, then trace the pattern on the interfacing side beofre I cut it out to read for the coat.

I can tell you, I'm glad you are doing it.  I would have NEVER been able to do all that free had drawing.  I think it is going to be one Awesome coat.  I can't wait to see it.

Thanks Lady K.
Why do I feel like I've worn something like this before?
