Perenyi Castle is in Vynohradiv, Romania.

Perenyi Castle was built by the Perenyi noble family from 1399, later rebuilt in Baroque style into a mansion.





Ugocsa Castle (ruins; 13th century). It was first mentioned in 1308. In 1315 King Charles Robert attacked and destroyed it. In the 15th century the area was given to monks of the Franciscan order, they built a monastery there, which was inhabited until 1558.

Koznik Castle is located in central Serbia.

The castle was mentioned for the first time in a Prince Lazar's decree, leading historians to estimate the build date before 1329. In the early 15th century, Koznik belonged to Radic Postupovic, one of the most important knights at that time.

Castillo de Gigonza is located in the Province of Cadiz in the southern part of Spain.

What we know today Gigonza Castle is situated in an ideal location for any type of human settlement in the vicinity because there is a cold water spring sulfuroácidas ideal to cure or mitigate the evils of the body. There is evidence of human habitation at the site back to Pre-Roman times. The castle itself was apparently built originally under Visigoth rule, when Saguntia becomes part of the Bishopric Asidonense but in 555.  In 1312, the castle belonged to Don Alonso de Guzman, the successor of the famous Guzman el Bueno who probably made the last major additions to the castle.

Filakovo Castle is in the center of the town of Filakovo, in the Banska Bystrica Region of south-central Slovakia.

The first written record of the town, along with the Fi?akovo Castle is from 1242, where the castle withstood the Mongol invasions. This was in Papal records though there are no records of the castle's building.

Orava Castle is situated on a high rock above Orava river in Slovakia.

After the Tartar invasion of 1241, Orava Castle was built on the site of an old wooden fort.

Mokrice Castle is a medieval castle southeast of Brežice, Slovenia.

Schoftland Castle is located in Schoftland, Switzerland.

Wolfgang of Miilinen (1609-1679), Lord of Schöftland, had built the castle Schöftland in 1660. At the same spot once stood a medieval tower.

Bottmingen Castle is a castle in the municipality of Bottmingen in the canton of Basel-Land in Switzerland.

Dyback Castle is a castle in Skurup Municipality, Scania, in southern Sweden.

The Lviv High Castle is a historic castle located on the top of the Castle Hill of the city of Lviv, Ukraine.

A brick castle was built on the hill in 1362 by the king Casmimir III. It replaced a series of older wooden fortifications that had been destroyed.
