Still slaving down the 17th C Bling Mines!  And Su's fabric arrived from India.  There are now three bits...  Hers with Da Byrds onnit, Friend's wiv Pink Faaars, and Lovely Customer's in shades of brown for a cooler, calmer version of the Layton Jacket!  Embroidered Jackets R Us!

The Doublet Sleeves and Lining for Baron Frederick's project.

I have yet to get the Aglets on. I used a Gold braided Piping thta brinsg out the Gold in the trims as well as make the Green Damask show up more. The Lining is very striking in and of itself. There's darker green in the design.

Last night while watching 3 hours of DOWNTON ABBEY on PBS, I worked on all the Shoulder and Waist treatments for Baron Frederick'sdoublte.

Today, I put it all together. Tonite I will hand sew as I watch my shows. The BUttons will be goLd tone to coordinate with the trims.
