Any North Texas groups

I'm new to the life and was hoping there were others who lived in the North Texas area.  Do we have any groups or a place I could meet others and learn more?

We actually have a ton of Rennie's who live in the DFW area.. we used to even meet up once a month up in Lewisville, but havent' done that in months..

There are lots of DFW rennies.  Be sure to come out to scarby.  Lots of people on the forum meet up every weekend.

That's good to know. I look forward to meeting them. Don't think I'll be getting a chance to hit Scarborough again this month. Maybe a quick post to this thread if something in DFW gets planned. #PrettyPlease.

I made a FB account just for RenFaire stuff and joined the FB group. Does my request have to be approved?

I tried to join the row12 group and was denyed..... if you dont know anyone in the group they wont let you in

I was approved, but I had several people I knew already in the group so that might of been why..

I sent a message to the guy who approved me to the group asking what the criteria is for getting into group.. I will let you know what he says, or if he has me direct you to him I can let you know that too.. Anyone who knows me personally for any length of time knows I vouch for VERY few people on this earth, and even then it can only be for certain situations.  So no offense, but I don't know you.. but I will see what I can do about why there was no response or denial..
