Indeed! I love thrift stores, and could easily blow a ton of money on stuff for potential garbing/cosplays every time I go in there...

I almost never buy anything new except for small stuff (like binding) when making a cosplay, so garbing was no exception. I think I spent $10.00 on the fabric for this costume.
The underskirt is half a bed sheet, and the red half of the bodice was a table cloth, and I got all my fabric from the thrift store. The Chemise was made from an old bed sheet in the house. The most expensive part was the duct ties for the boning, but I'll be able to use those for many more projects, so the relative cost is fairly minimal.
