I expected more people out at the Houston Highland Games/Celtic Fest but i had a good time anyways.  :P  Pirates of Bedlam proved they can perform under adverse conditions...

Pirates at Celtic Fest... interesting mix.  LOL

We're hoping to be headed to the opening weekend of Castle of Muskogee (OKRF) this coming weekend, to see Merlin and Nim, and several other folks!  Hoping the van will be in good enough shape to make it...  Wish you could all come up for the weekend to join us!

This year, my job conspired against me and I didn't have time to put up a tent in the Clan Gathering area for my Clan MacIntyre Association, but next year, I should be able to.  If so, please come by the tent for a bottle of water or a beer.

We were planning on going but had other issues crop up. After getting rained on so much the precious couple of years, they have been in dire straights. Sorry to hear there were small crowds.

I ended up having to work that weekend, but I'm a bit miffed that I didn't know about it at all until I talked to a couple of the moms at my daughter's school.  They mentioned the games because St. Thomas dances there every year.  I don't know how I missed any mention of the games this year.  Perhaps the low attendance has something to do with the lack of advertising.

I ALWAYS miss you!  Unfortunately, lately I have just barely even been able to find MYSELF... so looking for anyone else would have probably gotten me permanently lost.  :-\  I love you, though.  (hug)

Why have you been hiding?  Oh!  I do know WHERE you've been doing some of your hiding, though, and I am very impressed!  See?  I've been paying attention, at least!   :-*

When we got there, KP, it was PACKED... the parking lot at Farm & Ranch was 3/4 full, if not more.  Wasn't bad... I'm a bit jaded when it comes to Highland Games, having gone to ones in Inverness and regularly attending the PA Highland Games when i was a kid but these weren't too bad.
