My family and I went to Galveston Texas this weekend, it's an island that's about half an hour from where I live. There's an attraction called "Moody Gardens" and they have a real working rainforest exhibit inside of a huge pyramid, and here's some photos I took there.

As you probably know both are great insects. However, the mantis was young and at a size disadvantage compared to the larger more armored and structured assassin bug. 

So, we relocated the mantis to another part of the yard.   Besides, it was my daughters call....




she loves them!
