No being able to sleep before a trip to TRF to see all our faire-mily,  perish the thought :)
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Breandan

we're headed out as soon as Tiff gets off work. So, adding in fueling up and grabbing supplies and food on the way, should be on-site 8-9ish tonight

It was so good to see everyone this weekend! I wish that we could come back out for closing this year, but it is simply not in the cards however we are planning to hit AHE and Closing next year so here is to hoping! Thank you to all of you who made my other half feel welcome, he enjoyed his time at TRF greatly.

Love you all and be safe!

Fraser, I saw you pass by with Nasty a few times but no worries, there's always next time to say hi to each other! :)

Oh...Terre, if you happen to read this thread, The Honey Wagons did a p*ss poor job this past weekend.  >:( We saw them Friday and that was it.  By Sunday morning, the port-a-loos down at our end of camp were SCARY...like a giant mound of mashed potatos & gravy, with a blue moat, in everyone of them. :o  I was afaid to use them for fear of some part of my body touching Mt. Mashed Potatos when i sat down...(5am drive to the flushies solved that)

Then there was Port-a-loo #2... If you used it, you tried not to again, even when it was clean.  Everyone from McShug, BS, PR and Camp Fred know which one i'm talking about...the economy sized funhouse in a blue can.... ;D

Fraser:
Sounds like the ones on the inside loop were missed most if not all weekend.  I heard about the one your talking about by one of my PR clan members.  That's all I needed to hear to know I wasn't going that way "no way no how".  I was going to the set at the intersection where the loop runs into the road that runs east/west.  They were cleaned both Saturday & Sunday mornings.  Apparently the cleaning crew didn't get the memo on the locations of ALL the Port-a-loo's.   :o
Spiced rum....hmmmmm
Greetings, try this.

Yes, the previous weekend they were on top of the port-a-potty cleaning.  I was very impressed.  This past weekend, however, they were not cleaned as often.  Our potty group is in area 9 (grid G8).

Hmmm... that might have (indirectly, of course, and based solely on that little $#!+ Murphy's stupid "law") been my fault.

I made the mistake of bragging to a first-time camper (to reassure her, and ease her misgivings) about what a great job they have been doing these last several years with keeping the privies clean and decent... so of COURSE they had to go and make a liar out of me.  :-\

Sorry...

Well, we had a massive fart-of-the-brain and mixed up Roman Bachanal and Barbarian. We're headed out this weekend to camp, and if we can scrounge tickets up we'll daytrip Barbarian Saturday >.<
