This breaks my heart, but based on the current weather forecast, StudMuffin and I will not be attending TRF for All Hallows.  I will miss seeing all my friends and others that attend that wild weekend but the expected rain and mud make it too risky to chance.  I will really miss gathering in the campground with my clan but there is always next year!

I'm getting excited... Rain does give me pause, it sounds like its gonna be alot... But, this is Texas. I would not be surprised at least if it doesn't rain at all.

I hate hearing your not going to be in camp this weekend.  Was looking forward to downing a few cold ones with you. 

Here's something you might consider.  I've looked at multiple weather forecasts and it appears that Friday evening/night and Saturday morning till about mid day are the time periods with the highest percentages for thunderstorms.  With some luck, Saturday afternoon and evening might actually turn out to be pretty nice.  If that pans out, you might consider coming out mid-day Saturday and stay over Saturday night.  One night is not as good as two, but it's certainly better than none.  Of course it's all just forecasted weather reports, so who knows what will end up happening.

I had thought of that, RenStarr and am highly tempted.  But with the volume of rain expected late Friday and early Saturday, I fear the campground will become a bog.  StudMuffin has been stuck that way once and it wasn't pretty.
I know the Clan would take care of us and make sure we got where we needed to go but I would hate to impose.  Thank you for trying to find solutions for me.
We both will just have to be careful this next year so we can bend elbows together next year.

Just got back.  Everyone weathered the storm pretty well.
