Let The Countdown Begin!

So my year is going well - despite working two jobs, being active with a local nonprofit, and trying to still be a good wife to the husband. Its exhausting, but I think I have a good beat down!

This past weekend was opening weekend at Sherwood, and now I can't wait for TRF! I love the kickoff to the faire season here in Texas( My wallet, ehhh not so much )!

Rumors and the Truth:

TRF will have a season pass starting in 2016.  Tentative start date April 1st and the "Sale of The Century" is May 14th. 

I'm happy to announce Kim Bryant is our new Vendor Coordinator, she has been a part of TRF for many years on the Entertainment side and most recently our School Days Coordinator. 

We also have a new Site Director, Greg Johnson and his staff will be taking over the task of making TRF beautiful and functional. 

Both of these jobs are very important and I have complete confidence that Kim and Greg will be great.

Blarghwaffles... been eyeballs deep in life stuff, sorry I've been so quiet. Related to that, I do so hate Faustian deals: job opportunity with a high salary, great  bennies, and excellent advancement potential- rare for someone my age- before mandatory retirement.... but it's in frickin Virginia (Fraser and a few others will automatically know exactly where and be headdesking that I'm even considering it), which takes me away from friends, faires, and sane people.

My partner and I won't be able to go to Sherwood this year - next year for sure! But we're Friends of Faire at Scarborough, and we'll be there every weekend! We'll also be at TRF at least twice.

Welcome to R/F and the TRF Never Ending Countdown...the official count doesn't start until the first week in July, but we use this thread to communicate with each other through out the year...
