Can I kill for a hunk of fried dough sprinkled with lots of confectioners!

Lord Argyl of Lochdubh

aren't you talking about eating beignets ?
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

laedyfaire

If you call them beignets and I call them fried dough may I still have half a dozen?

Lord Argyl of Lochdubh

a dozen seems like a lot, but who am i to say whats a lot
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I said half a dozen m'lord....but now that you have said a dozen , me thinks a dozen would be better if they can be stored in the freezer?

Lord Argyl of Lochdubh

I store a loaf of bread in the freezer so why not beignets ?
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

May I suggest a basic 'net search, when you ask that immortal question: Can you freeze beignets?

laedyfaire

After freezing enough beignets to keep one happy, will there be room for the frozen peas?

Lord Argyl of Lochdubh

will the beignets taste fresh after being frozen ?
We are not now that strength which in old days

One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Will the peas absorb any of the goodness of the beignets?

Lord Argyl of Lochdubh

We are not now that strength which in old days

One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will

You are intrigued by pea-flavored beignets?

Lord Argyl of Lochdubh

Oh hell no, I couldn't do pea flavored beignets , could you ?
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will

laedyfaire

Pea flavored beignets perhaps, not but leftover frozen birthday cake perhaps might be a go?

RefMom3

Is there ever leftover birthday cake?
