I hope this isn't horribly out of place here, since it's mostly fantasy, but I wanted to share my latest outfit, since I'm incredibly proud of it. A lot of hard work went into it (I discovered just what horrible things can happen to your hands when you're handsewing things, particularly eyelets, which I do believe I've mastered now), and it debuted today to a fantastic reaction. Of the sewn things, I'm most proud of the bodice, because -- though it's hard to tell since I didn't bone it (I wanted a more rustic, wild sort of feel to it) -- I'm pretty sure it fits me quite well, and will be a good pattern to base my new corset, etc. on. (Overall, I'm most proud of the legs -- I built my own stilts, and they were a blast to walk around in.)



It was a lot of fun to wear!

Aww, thank you, ladies! <3 I'm so glad you like it.

It was really well-received by everyone at the faire (except the sheriff, who ticketed my party for "unlicensed possession of a fae"); apparently I was being talked about all over the place haha. Can't wait to wear it again! Very fun. <3
