TRF Opening Weekend Celebration

If I remember correctly, the bust that happened last year was because one of his "blessings" was sold to an underage girl, who was working for TABC as a plant and therefore they busted him on selling/providing alcohol to a minor.  They confiscated quite a bit of home brewed mead that night.  Such a waste too, that is some of the best mead... especially the Elderberry.

Oh, I'm sure you could, but the question is do you want the hassle of having to have your manufacturing area inspected by the health department and TABC?

I should be staggering into the celebration (with at least a couple of others in tow) at some point in the evening. I have several other appearances to make that night as well, so hopefully I don't pass out before I get there...hehehe

Oh we will now be having a bellydancing contest, strongman contest, and a fire breathing contest. Also on friday and saturday we will be passing out scavenger hunt fliers. there will be prizes for all winners and maybe more for every competition! All competitions will be on saturday, and will have times posted on our flyers we'll be handing out, or just stop buy!!!

Curious, he may have been arrested by the cops but it doesn't actually mean he was ever charged afterwards. I'm sure I'll stop by at some point, either all weekend or now and then, depends if something happens or not.

And the story about the guy having a party and getting busted for charging cover at the door... that sounds kinda shady. Not your friend... just the fact he got in trouble for that. We have strip joints and places all around houston that don't have liquor license so they are BYOB and you pay a cover to get in and see the ladies etc.

NOT the same. Those places are covered under very specific state laws & most (but not all) have some kind of business and tax permits. Vice & TABC monitor those places closely.
