We had quite a blustery storm this morning in the area but it has made way for a very pleasant and quite cool afternoon    Hopefully the cooler weather stays with us!!  Is there such a thing a a 'cool front' dance???

It doesn't...you keep adding to it until you have so much stuff that you have to buy a trailer to haul it all in... I speak from experience... 

Huh, Funny... Truck and trailer are on my shopping list for December...

We added a car seat to our mix... Man that takes away a lot of packing room... Upgrades are a must...

On the topic, I've got an 8' bed extended cab truck, and it isn't enough room for gear. There is no such thing as "enough room", that's just a myth.

Yay, TRF is almost here! I am already all packed and have everything set aside for the car. now if i could get my boy to put together his things we will be golden.

Just a few more favors to make and I am good.

Wow Teach, great idea!  I already have all the stuff to do that with.  It would be nice to have it on hand just in case, as you said, the weather is as punishing as it was last year on opening.

Now, I just need a wagon to put the whole set-up in so I can take it into faire with me!!!

When we were shopping for a new vehicle last year for the lovely Lady Trinn, our biggest concern was making sure there was plenty of rum... er room for all the gear.
Got her a Scion Xb, perfect size. We can actually haul enough camping gear and garb for 7 people at need (we know that one from experience) including enough water for showers.
I was a scoutmaster with my kid for many many years and know very well what the minimum amount of gear I would need to camp. But... I've done that already... and, I am done with it. Now I want as many comforts as I can find.
Air mattress, showers, AC (yes there is a way to air condition a tent easily), tent heater, plenty of room etc etc...
Next step for us is a camper and that is coming as soon as it is economically possible.
