I'm in sales, not tech so I could not even begin to tell you how to fix email. You can contact tech support by calling 1 800 922 0204.  As to moving the numbers over, you can go to any Verizon Wireless store and they can swap them over from one phone to the other for you.  There is a fee for that, but SOMETIMES, you can get it 'waived'.
