Hello everyone.  I just thought I would introduce myself.  I am a friend of Eloquent XI.  I found out about renaissance fairs a couple years ago and I have only been to Scarborough but I plan on changing that.

For those of you camping with McLotofus this weekend (All Hallow's Eve), I shall have a shower enclosure with a Zodi hot shower. If you wish to partake in a hot shower, I would ask that you bring two or three gallons of water to contribute to the reservoir.

Greetings All!

I was referred over to this most excellent thread by the apparent rum lover Teach from the TRF Camping sticky...

...and seeing how I must be a default member, as I cannot 'officially join', I hope to join in the fun and debauchery will you all this weekend! 

Myself and 5 others are camping for the first time at the TRF this All Hallow's Eve weekend and hopefully a couple of us will be arriving Friday night, with the others following suit Saturday morning.

MacLaren said there should be plenty of room for our 1 (8-person) tent, so if this happens to be the case when I arrive around 7:30 or 8 PM, do I need to 'check in' of sorts with someone in particular, or should I just tell random McLotofus'ers that we were referred over from RF.com, and just plop down somewhere within the pink and green tapes?

we will definitely have booze on hand and perhaps even some 'welcome bottles' for all to pass around... and hopefully i can acquire a fire pit as well... but, does anyone have suggestions for the best types of food to bring? i'm sure we'll eat a lot at the faire itself, but that most assuredly will not hold us over throughout the night(s).
