Im actually quite flattered, Taarna.  Lishy is a play on my given name, Alisha.  All my friends call me Lish for short, and then a few years ago someone started calling me "Squishy Lishy" and well. . . the rest is history as they say.

Im looking forward to meeting you as well.  I saw you at faire this past weekend but never got a chance to come say hello.  Part of my closing weekend persona is my "snow queen" which originally started as me attempting to be a snow fae.  Alas, the wings and I did not get along.  It has evolved into more of a snow amazon- if someone 5'3" can be considered even remotely amazonian, haha.

So, since we have yet to make any of you lovely individuals' acquaintance, can someone tell us how we might find you all?  I think we are stuck doing the hotel thing or else we would be campingo ut a bitearlier and have more time to make friends. . .

There is a meet and greet both sat and sun at the prince of wales pub after the parade.

I missed this past Saturday's meet and greet in front of POW, due to.... well... photo ops... LOL
but I went Sunday and wasn't too late beyond the end of parade and no one was there? Some folks sitting at a table that took my pic and marvaled at my eyes, but I didn't see anyone else. 

I'll be there for Celtic Christmas! Hopefully somebody will say hi!

 I am at the POW for the parade Sat and Sunday- went inside for Lunch after the Parade on Sunday! If there are not many at the meet and greet I don't linger. Sorry I missed you Taarna!

Cabbage and sausage soup... sounds intriguing if not a bit odifferous...
Nontheless I will try some since Cabbage is supposed to bring prosperity for the New Year... so what if it's a month early? I need all the hope for prosperity I can get my hands on!

Odiferous is exactly what it can be if not done properly. But, on a cold night, it warms the soul something special. Considering the current weather, we likely will be needing just that! I had to break camp last night and get home...it was just too chilly for a second night. I'll have to get some more supplies so the discomfort isn't too bad in the coming weeks.

Anyway, I'm headed to faire. I was lucky enough to get the day off to explore. It's about time, too! Hanging around in the shop all day is patience trying!
