Here are a few of the courtesan... Yes, we took only "seductive" pics... it's a courtesan thing.

Beautiful costumes Lady Elizabeth, it looks like you two had a lot of fun!

The drops on the bodice are either teardrop pearls or round pearls with gold beads and sea green glass beads. Thanks for all the compliments, I really liked how it turned out :)

I love looking at everyone's creations! It's very inspiring!

Looking through my pictures I apparently need to take more of the things I've made over the years. But here a few of the most recent projects I've completed...

Perry came to me with a picture of this pirate dude and wanted me to replicate it. So I had this pic from him: http://www.pearsonsrenaissanceshoppe.com/images/Sailor_Vest_P_292.jpg
and made this in addition to what I was wearing:

when I get a chance to take more pictures of my other projects from previous years I'll post them :)

BonnyHeather, that is a very excellent likeness to the photo!  Good addition of the shirt too, makes it a bit more piraty I think!

Cheri made a cloak for our little princess to go with her garb for trick-or-treating this year:

The first one shows the biggins we made for her, and the second one kinda shows the floral circlet we bought for her at our first faire.

New pixie garb for the little one. Unfortunately, I didn't get pics at faire. Stupid me forgot the camera. :-[ Did at least get some pics for halloween.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.

I just looked through the whole thread, and everyone's creations look great! :)

I've only been sewing for about a year, but I really enjoy making costumes. My creations are on my costume blog, http://eldameldo.wordpress.com if anyone's interested (they're all Renaissance/medieval/fantasy).

Jingley hats!  Two hats, a bag and a belt go in the post this pm.  Here are the latest of a selection of jester/elf hats:

Two previous ones...

As someone who frequently says 'I don't make hats!' I seem to be doing rather well in the head-covering stakes!  There's a fleece one for Big Sis (not even remotely garbish), a couple of ski-hat types James has kicking around, and I'm heading for the fourth Regency Bonnet!

Very kewl everybody!!!

Kate!!  Your hats remind me of the Jester hat I made a pattern from to make either out of Felt or Velveteen. Perfect for MArdi Gras!!

The Italian Renaissance ensemble is finished except for the headpiece.

There is a slight train to the Undergown. Grommeted up the back of the Undergown and tied off with cording that matches the cording on the Chemise.

Now on to the Corded Reta.

It turned out so nice! The colour combo is smashing, and the beading details really, really pretty.

LadyElizabeth

I agree, love the color combo... especially LOVE the orange fabric, so intricate and interesting.... I really think it would make an excellent Elizabethan gown totally beaded to heck!

The Contrast fabric for the Italian gown was a Special Order from Hancock's. It is so rich on its own. Having a 40% coupon helps because this fabric is not cheap, but so worth it.

Thanks for the compliments.
