COWARDS, hiding their faces as if they are ashamed to look a man in the eye when they attempt to take his life.  Screw the DBI, someone must pay the ransom and get Darkke back home safely.

You offering???

PurpleDragon

Nope, I said SOMEONE, and I'm a NOBODY (because nobodies perfect) so therefore I cannot be someone that pays the ransom

There may be only one person who can successfully bring him home...

Let's get dangerous
On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

There has been no note today.
When I came out to the porch this morning, this was in the middle.

The DBI is being no help with their proceeding inquiries. Can no one save our Captain?

MacLaren

Okay, that's it!

Someone offer the ransom, let's ambush the bastards cut their horns off!!!

The scoundrels have left another of their grisly reminders! But at least we know that our beloved Captain still lives!
The DBI has all evacuated  to Patagonia and left a message on the answering machine that DEMA (Duck Emergency Managment Administration) was taking over the investigation since the region is now a disaster area.

Have you tried San Antonio?  It's possible the ducknappers caught a bus with the Galveston evacuees.

An excellent idea!
I understand that there are a lot of miscreants in that area so the dastardly ducknappers could blend in easily.
Now, if only we can find a reputable resource to investigate that den of iniquity?

KeeperoftheBar

I do not believe that the ducknappers left the area for fear of not receiving their ill gotten booty.  I suspect they are one of those people who refused to evacuate before the storm.  Darkke is probably chained somewhere in the ruins in neck deep water. (Which should not bother him too much being a duck after all)

Any more news about Darkke Duck?  ???

Has anyone heard anymore from the ducknappers?

What about DEMA?  Have they uncovered anything yet?

You know DEMA, it takes them FOREVER to get anything done properly.

Perhaps it would be best to not await the crutch of DEMA and do for ourselves.  Let's search every bar and pub for any sign of the innocent victim, Darkke Duck.

Okay, it's been so many long months since we received news of the FOWL plot.

Any update?

Somehow he seems so much safer in San Antonio, but while it appears safer, I don't see tales of his adventures like he had all last summer.
Has he become truly domesticated now? Will he no longer be seen cavorting in the pool with slender fashon models? and others of questionable morals?
It seems such a boring life after what he had as Captain of the Empress' Guard.
