I got that "year-round" tan that I was born with, so tanning isn't really something that I'm into! lol... I gotta be in the water, too! I'm ready for the pool across the way from my townhome to open already!

We have a pool here, but it's filled from morning til night with foul-mouthed tweens and their equally foul-mouthed parents, at least 50 at a time, and as much as my daughter loves to swim, even she doesn't want to hang out there.  It's no fun when the bigger kids are purposely splashing the smaller ones right in the face, or pushing them underwater and holding them there, and I'm not willing to take the chance that something might happen while my back is turned for 2 seconds...

We don't exactly live in the best complex in town...

I'm from the southeastern Irish coast and live in Texas now. I guess I am used to it now though.

My family's from the opposite coast, down around Cill Airne, and I grew up in Alaska... I'm doomed
Still, here it is mid-may and the weather has been surprisingly pleasant, if a bit too sunny for my tastes.

I'm the opposite. I have that Gaelic-Nordic curse of precisely squat for melanin, half a step up from albino, so I skip tan and move on straight to immolate when I get out into the sun
In fact, I was barred from going shirtless on Barbarian Weekend due to the blindness I caused- and one small structural fire- from sunlight reflecting off of my skin ;-)

Sooo... lily white skin and ginger hair must mean you're just about one big freckle, then?

Oh, but it gets hot in Alaska in the summer, also... and really humid, as well!  Not TX hot, of course, but bad enough so that the mosquitoes and no-seeums will stick to you just because you're sweating so much!  And that's no joke when they fly around in clouds so thick they block out the sky...

My husband is kinda like that-he turns into a lobster when he gets out into the sun. He's got the Hank Hill tan lines (if you even want to call them that) on his arms where his shirt hits. lol...

I think I've been letting my flirting quota drop off a bit too far lately, and I need to make up for it all at once!   

Oh... well, I did get in a bit of good flirting this weekend at Faire, though... so maybe that's what put me in teh mood...

I know how you feel I've got ultrawhite skin. The sun never turns me a bronze color only a lovely shade of lobster! Lol
I use sunblock so much I should buy stock in it lol

Last year there were supposed to be "Random Blender Emergencies", but it was too freakin' COLD for frozen drinks!!!  This year, maybe we should plan some yummy HOT drinks, instead...   Things with Bourbon, brandy and Kahlua, or... mulled spiced wines spiked with Apple Struddel Loki, maybe!      Mmmmm...
