We had no theft issues either, in fact Saturday some liquor didn't get put away and was sitting on the table in the middle of camp under the pavilion with just mesh walls zippered down and no one touched anything. I was shocked to find it still sitting there.

We were really lucky though that made me nervous. We knew almost everyone camping around us and the people we didn't, we introduced ourselves too. It was REALLY nice not being next to the drum circle.

Even though on Saturday night, we had a young drunkard wander to our fire, and after a short exchange and his persistence of trying to talk to Mystery, I started to get uncomfortable. I asked him to leave and his response was to instead plop down in a chair by the fire. I gve fair warning though, and very calmly stated, "There are two very big men that will remove you if you don't leave..."

He gone after a few moments when I got up and talked to some of the men in camp. I'm very lucky to have so many faire brothers/Uncles/friends there to look after me or come running at the first word...

It must've been the scowl i gave him... or the war axe i picked up.  ;D

Saw Charlie having fun last weekend at the Sea Devil.  Had women all over him as usual!

The talk of the drum circle reminded me that some fools on 3rd weekend rolled two of the large logs into the fire.  When I go back think I'll stay at the quite camp.

Pays to have good Neighbors ours was the Green Flame good people.

We (the Green Flame) were unfortunately infiltrated by some drunk pre-teens (ok, they were maybe all of 14) who I know stole at least one cooler of beer when they ran out of alcohol.  (we found it in the pile of all of the trash they left when they took off).  The whole higher camp fee and having to show or buy tickets at the gate doesn't work- they all just paid for camping and entrance tickets so they could come blast their gangsta' rap music and drink other people's alcohol...

Other than the group of kids, we were surrounded by seemingly good people, so that's a definite bonus.

Ya i heard you guys saying yay when they turned it off and nooooo when they turned it back on. Have to make sure we camp by you guys again or with? 8). Great group of people you guys are. Even took a photo of my son with the Storm Trooper 8). Safety in numbers. We will be attending last weekend hopefully yall are there that weekend. We will probably camp in the same spot.

Tink

Now I know who you are!  The trooper is my husband (and I must assure everyone, he only did it for Halloween- he is not one of the regular troopers out there)  I was the green faery with him.

Yes, you must camp with us next time!  Will you be out for turkey weekend?

Friday Night Tim and I helped Ambard make a few teenage drink beggars feel very unwelcome at Jessica's (or was it Riot's?) request by MS. They left without an arguement.
That was the extent of any issues I saw or had this past weekend.
There was the drunk girl who caused a marathon campground walk to help her find her camp but that wasn't a huge deal really. PR made me proud trying to help the twit.
(After about 2 hours walking in the middle of the night we discovered the next day that her camp was across the street from ours.)

*I brought plenty of rum so that I would be happy to help her find camp but even that was starting to fade*

I'm also told that the cops, after being asked to help out with another drunk chick, told the BS that it was not their problem.

FYI.........there was another (under the influence of something) young chick lost that couldn't find her way home on Sunday evening.  Same place (PR camp area), same M.O.  I have no idea if that was the same chick from Saturday evening, but sitting around Sunday evening with the B.S. crew, she came stumbling thru the campers & tents totally lost and UTI.  Some group behind us took her in and put her to sleep in a camper.
The PR area seemed to be magnet for "lost little girls" on AHE weekend.
Spiced rum....hmmmmm
Greetings, try this.
